08/05/09: Scott Tamlin is running minibus to the forthcoming FOMOA Day at Hartpury College (Sun 12th July. There are limited spaces, so if you would like to book a place please contact Scott via e-mail on sjtamlin_ref@hotmail.com before the 30th June. The inclusive price is £7.50. 08/05/09: Bristol RA are pleased to announce that the winner of the Member of the Year award was Mark Dadds and the Young Member of the Year was Sam Fudge.

First Meeting of the New Season - Details TBA
The first meeting of the new season will be August. The format of the evening will be announced nearer the time.
The Bristol RA Management and Committee would like to wish all it's members an enjoyable closed season.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the August meeting. The meeting will be held at 7.30pm at the Bristol Civil Service Club which is situated just off Filton Avenue.

Venue for Bristol RA Meetings
Bristol RA now host all it's meetings at the Bristol Civil Service Sports Club on Filton Avenue, Bristol. The venue meet's the RA's needs a lot better than the previous venue of Hanham Folk Centre. For map and directions on how to get to the new venue (download here). We hope to see as many members as possible at the next meeting, which will be held on Thursday 6th August 2009 at 7.30pm.

RAE Centenary Conference
David Ellery, Pierluigi Collina and Gilbert Isom (Bristol RA President)
Bristol RA were represented at this year's RAE Centenary Conference by Gilbert Isom (President), Tony Mills (Former Branch Chairman), Dave Price (Secretary), Bill Bombroff (Committee Member) and Colin Harris (Former Branch Secretary and currently on the RAE Board of Management).The main guest speaker for the evening was Pierluigi Collina along with other prestigious speakers such as Jose Maria Garcia-Aranda, Geoff Thompson, Mike Riley and Steve Smith.
