Bristol RA wins county skittles
BRISTOL BRANCH WIN ANNUAL GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY SKITTLES COMPETITION PLAYED 22nd OCTOBER.
The Ron Newman trophy was presented by Alan Pearce ( County Secretary ) to Mandy Kerfoot after Bristol comfortably won by pins at the Gala Club, Gloucester.
A gathering of 40 were in attendance and enjoyed a skittles social evening, fulsome buffet and excellent raffle.
Shine Sports Coaching provided generous sponsorship and was acknowledged on the evening.
Keith (Gloucester) was top male scorer and Mandy best lady and both scored 28. The highest score from 3 roll up’s was by Peter Colley with 11.
After a break for the buffet a County 15 year award was made to Dennis Young ( Cirencester ) by Vice President Bill Bombroff.
Bristol were represented by Mandy Kerfoot, Bernard Caddy, Nick Dawson, Sam Fudge, Cath & Frank White.
