	Date: Friday 8th May 2009 Scott Tamlin one of the Bristol RA committee members has kindly offered to put a minibus on for the forthcoming FOMOA Day to be held at Hartpury College on Sunday 12th July. If anyone is interested in having a lift to the event, Scott is offering places on the minibus (pick up points in Bristol to be arranged nearer the time) for an all inclusive price of £7.50. There are limited spaces on board, so if you would like to book a place please contact Scott via e-mail on sjtamlin_ref@hotmail.com before the 30th June. Payment will need to be received by the same date. Can all cheques please be made payable to Mr S J Tamlin.
	Date: Friday 8th May 2009 Bristol RA are pleased to announce that the winner of the Member of the Year award was Mark Dadds and the Young Member of the Year was Sam Fudge. Both will be presented their awards at the first meeting of the new season, which will be held on Thursday 6th August 2009. Congratulations and well done to the both of them.

	Date: Friday 1st May 2009 The Regional RA Quiz - Mercia and the West was held at Almondsbury Sports and Social Club on Sunday 29th March and was won again by Bridgwater. East Devon came runners up, Bristol 3rd and Mid-Cornwall 4th. The Bristol quiz team consisted of Chris Tebb (team captain), Matt Griffiths, Sam Fudge and Maris Brugis.
	Date: Friday 1st May 2009 The Boxall Cup Darts competition took place on Saturday 21st March where Cheltenham "B" beat a determined Forest side, with Bristol and Cirencester also taking part. Forest beat Cheltenham "A" in the preliminary round and then went on to beat Cirencester, while Cheltenham "B" beat Bristol. Cheltenham "B" then beat the Forest in the Final. The Cheltenham team consisted of Martin Ball, Joe Mizzi, Russell Price and Simon Wales. The Boxall Cup Trophy was presented to Martin Ball by Bill Bombroff, Vice President Gloucestershire County Referees Association.
	Date: Wednesday 25th February 2008 Gloucestershire Football Association and the FA Match Officials Association (FAMOA) are holding this year's Development Day at Hartpury College on Sunday 12th July 2009. This training event is for everyone involved in refereeing in Gloucestershire. It is a great opportunity to brush up on your own skills and meet many of your fellow match officials. This year it will be compulsory for all promotion candidates to attend.
	Date: Wednesday 3rd February 2009 March's branch meeting will now take place on Thursday 12/03/09 to allow our members to attend the GFA Cups Seminar planned for 5th March at GFA HQ.
	Date: Wednesday 3rd February 2009 National Draw - There are plenty of National Draw tickets for sale. Cash prizes go up to £5,000 and the branch receives 50% of the proceeds of tickets sold. If you require any tickets then please contact Peter Colley
